I’ve finally reached the point in my life where I want to look and feel great.

I’d been on every diet and lost but eventually gained back the weight, plus more. Ideal Protein was the EASIEST program to follow. My coaches, Amy and Derek, taught me how to do things right.

I’m confident that I will not gain the weight back because I’m conscious of the food I’m choosing to eat.  Willpower became my best friend.

The cost was right on target because I used to buy lunch every day at work. The protein packets were delicious; I’m going to miss my wafers. I would highly recommend Ideal Protein. I hope to encourage others with my success.

My neighbor, who had lost 73 pounds on the program, introduced me to the Ideal Protein program. I found out that we had the same eating habits & some of the same health issues. I was a person who as my mother always said, “I lived to eat, not eat to live”. I love to cook and bake for my family and friends. I usually make bake goods for family events or picnics.

I learnt of some health issues that I was not able to control by myself & knew I needed to do something if I wanted to live a better, healthier life. My doctor informed me that I was pre-diabetic, plus I had high blood pressure and slept with a C-Pap machine. I had a grandchild on the way and wanted to be able to play with him, like I did with my boys growing up. I’m also love to garden and take care of my flowers, but it was getting more and more difficult because of my bad knees.

I decided to make my appointment to get more information and I liked what I heard, so I started the program. 

I had a big problem with portion control and my husband and 2 sons are meat and potato guys. The boys are no longer at home, which made this program easy to do and my husband was very supportive of me.   I was able to make the vegetables to serve with our meals.  My husband wasn’t following the program with me, but he did lose some weight too. I only baked when he asked me or we had a family function or event. I was able to bake without being tempted by the sweets.

My first goal was 50 pounds. I added 25 more pounds and finally went for 25 more. I made my goal of 100 pounds. My pants went from a size 20W to a size 14 or 16 depending on the cut.  My tops went from a size 22/24 to an 18 or XL.   

In July, I worked 7 straight hours out in the garden and flowerbeds without my knees bothering me at all.  Normally I wouldn’t have been able to walk after being in the yard after 2 – 3 hours.

In the beginning of November, I bought a dress to attend my cousins funeral service. I modeled the dress for my husband & he said it looked good.  The next morning I asked what he truly thought of the dress; he was quiet for a while and he finally said “That is the best I ever saw you in a dress”.  I thought to myself, it has been a worthwhile journey & I am glad I did it.

I want to thank my neighbor for introducing me to the Ideal Protein Program; she was my inspiration. I want to thank my family members, co-workers, and friends who were always giving me words of encouragement. I want to thank Derek and Amy because they were my great coaches and gave the science & health lesson every week when I reported for weigh in. Most of all, I want to thank my husband of almost 30 years for standing by me during my weight loss and encouraging me along the way. 

It was an easy plan to follow.  The most work I had to do was cut up all my fresh vegetables and plan out the Ideal Protein meals on a weekly basis.

This diet is the last diet you will ever need!

I had been introduced to Energized Fitness through a pair of friends who took me to a workshop in April of 2012. I was completely skeptical about trying this diet, but my friends had done the diet, phased out and kept the weight off. I met my goal weight in October 2012 and have maintained my goal weight without a problem since phasing out.

Before starting the diet, I was sluggish and unmotivated due to being over-weight and major health problems that effective my day-to-day life. I wasn’t able to run and keep up with my kids when they played outside. I wasn’t able to walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like my heart was jumping out of my chest.

Now since completing the diet I can do all those things and more without getting winded. This diet is the last diet you will ever need. If you find a good clinic they will treat your mind, body and soul by teaching you the right way to live. They will also teach you how to keep the balance after you’ve completed the program. I owe my new life, my new body and my new frame of mind to Energized Fitness/Ideal Protein.

The day I got married, I weighed 139 lbs. After Eight and a half years and two children, I weighted 183 lbs. When I was pregnant with my second child, I weighed 186 lbs. full term. My weight of 183 freaked me out and I knew I had to do something drastic, but what? Do I go with a quick fix, like a tummy tuck or liposuction and at what cost? Then, I remember a friend telling me she lost 15 lbs. on Ideal Protein. I made my typical New Years resolution like every year and with a quick internet search I found Amy and Derek at Energized Fitness. I set up a consultation with Derek on January 3, 2013 to get started.

After the first week, I noticed differences in my appearance and became a believer of the protocol. There are a variety of foods so I didn’t get bored and I was never hungry while on the program. I like how the program didn’t just change the number on the scale, but fixed the problem that was causing me to gain the weight. I found out that I was insulin resistant, which was part of the problem and by following the protocol, my sugar handling and insulin resistance has improved.

My total weight loss was 42 lbs. and over 40 inches off my body. It’s a great feeling when you dig into the back of your closet and pull out something you haven’t worn in years, plus I bought a new bikini because I didn’t have love handles or back fat to hide. By following what Derek and Amy had taught me about food combinations and more, I know how to keep the weight off. If I would go back to my old ways, I’d go back to my old weight. Not going to happen!

I owe a lot of my success to my amazing coaches, Derek and Amy. They may be strict and that’s what I needed. The thought of cheating and having to face Derek and see the disappointment was enough, but Amy is a great cheerleader and kept me motivated! When I had a good week, she was proud and excited for me and kept me moving. They take your journey very seriously, which made me take it seriously. Guess what? It worked! I went from despising my body to loving it! If you’re fed up with trying all the different diets without results, give Derek and Amy a call!

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it!

Before Ideal Protein, my motivation and energy were at an all time low. I was struggling with my weight and it just seemed that as much as I tried to eat healthy and work out, nothing was working for me. I would do good one week and then fall off the next. I was the heaviest, as well as, the unhappiest I had ever been in my life.

I attended my cousins wedding in August of 2013. I saw the looks on my family and friend’s faces, which was the last straw for me. Even though nobody said anything, their eyes did the talking and I knew what they were thinking. How much weight had I gained? That was one of the worst feelings in my life. 

Ideal Protein wasn’t just a diet for me it was a life-style change.  I’m not going to say that it was easy because it wasn’t, but what I will tell you is that it was worth it. Some of the hardest times for me were when I would see my friends and family eating the foods that I couldn’t. Also, the office that I work in is literally addicted to food and I was surrounded by brownies, chips and cookies all day, but I never gave up. The way that I got through was always keeping my end goal in mind and knowing that once I would have the body that I wanted. I would look back and be so proud of myself that I did it and that is exactly what happened. It also made it a lot easier when you see how easy the weight falls off.

Before Ideal Protein, I had literally tried every trick and “lose 5 pounds in 5 days” diet out there, but this diet really does work. As long as you follow the program and keep yourself motivated, you will 100% reach your goal. I started this diet on September 16th, 2013 and finished on November 27th, 2013. I started at 152 pounds and finished at 127. I have never been as skinny or as happy as I am today.

I now have the desire to eat healthy and work out because I realized how much more energy I gained in my life. I want to go outside and do things, instead of just sitting on the couch. I would recommend this diet to anyone who wants to lose weight and become a healthier person. Amy and Derek are great coaches and as long as you put your trust and time in them, they will help you to reach your goals!
